We are currently looking for an experienced Machine Operator / Machinist to join our client in Wimborne St Giles on a full-time permanent basis.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities for Progression of Orders:-
- Consult with Designers at all stages of manufacture
- Working from technical drawings to manufacture products
- Using skill and knowledge select machinery and set it up
- Make jigs for special equipment
- Handover completed product/s to the finishing department or relevant team
- Manage a portfolio of runner products with responsibility of product development and manufacturing efficiency.
- Liaison with purchasing for the acquisition of machine shop tools/cutters etc
- Ability to train and upskill employees on machinery used
- Equipment Used
- XYZ Proturn CNC lathe
- XYZ SMX CNC milling machine
- Manual lathes
- Manual milling machines
- All metalworking machines
Hours:- 7am - 6pmMonday - Friday
